“Precipitous Labor” with first?

Does anyone have a history of “precipitous labor” or labor/delivery under 3 hours?
From the first contraction to birth with my first child was just under two hours. Every doctor and midwife has said they are on high alert for us (with one saying I won’t deliver that fast again) - though mine was the fastest, all women in my family have had precipitous labors so we’re not counting on that one! 
We now live further from the hospital, & are due in the middle of a Maine winter! I’m handling fine, but my husband is convinced we’ll be at home or on the highway when this little one arrives. Anyone with any tips & tricks or similar experiences?

Not exactly the same as I'd been having contractions all day, but from the time my water broke to the time my baby was born with my first was 1 hour 4 minutes.
With my second the time from noticing my water was breaking to baby being born was about 13 hours. My second labor was an entirely different experience

My first came in 2.5 hours, my second in 1 hour 45 minutes. We lived only 15 minutes from the hospital with #2 so we made but with only 20 minutes to spare.
My midwives told me to keep a few extra blankets with me at all times during the end of my pregnancy, like in my hospital bag at home so my husband knew where they were, and a separate bag to keep in the car. They said if I delivered at home or in the car all I really needed to worry about was having blankets to keep baby warm, everything else the paramedics would take care of when they got there (or the nurses if we got that close to the hospital).
