Anyone get dizzy spells and lightheaded a few days before their period?

I'm suppose to get my period in about 3 days, if not sooner and today every time I went to stand up, I almost 'black out' and get dizzy and fuzzy. People say it's because my body is getting ready to lose so much blood, so I just want to make sure I'm not crazy. ✌🏼️

I have this all the time. what the other poster said- also you can do some positions that help with blood flow: clench all the muscles below the waist, cross your legs when you sit, sleep with your top half elevated 4 in, grab your hands and pull outwards to your sides.

You are experiencing postural hypotension. It happens when you stand up from a sitting or lying position and your blood pressure drops making it hard for the blood to circulate your body, therefore causing you to feel dizzy, light headed and in some cases faint.

I experience this on a daily bases. It helps if you make sure you have good levels of vitamins, specially D, B12 and iron. Drink lots of water, like lots. Eat saltier foods. And try to remain physically active to raise your blood pressure.
