My son is about to turn 4 and just hit this stage.... he's also got some serious OCD behaviors so my entire day with him and trying to explain that the world won't end just because I walked in front of him or if the cold water gets turned off before the hot water.
3 year old behavior
My daughter turned 3 in June and I have an almost 9 month old daughter. My 3 year old over the last few months has begun to whine and cry about most things. It doesn't seem to matter what the issue is, she's going to cry about it and it's all day so I don't think it's just an issue of being tired. It's just really starting to get on my nerves. It seems like we can't go more than half an hour without her crying or whining about something. I guess I'm just curious how other 3 year old are and if this is just a normal phase or not.

This sounds totally normal to me. Kids do this on and off their whole childhood.

I guess I just wondered if it was a normal 3 year old behavior or if it had something to do with not getting enough attention now that I've got two. I guess this is just another one of those things I've got to wait out lol
