Irregular period supplements?

So I am not looking to be on birth control and deal with the side effects of that, but I am still wondering if there is something I can do to help my irregular periods. Ever since I started nursing school I have been very very stressed and they have become more irregular. I have been doing some research and it looks like Vitamin D and Apple cider vinegar are good ways to help with it being more regular? Has anyone ever tried this? I want to try something more natural if I can, before going back to the Dr.
