My mom as a kid told me "the minute a man or woman hits their spouse, the relationship is over. Hitting your significant other is a sign of the outmost disrespect towards the person". 
I was dating a guy and he slapped me once. He was sick and I came to his apartment to take care of him and cook for him. He had fallen asleep and I had a friend come and pick me up. He needed to lock up after I left cause he lived in the slums. When I tried waking him up, he slapped me. I left him a message and although he called to apologize, I told him it was over. Trust was broken and frankly, one slip up is the beginning of many. I never looked back. I don't see how some women tolerate that shit.

Fuck no. I was in a physically abusive marriage for over a year before I stood up for myself. Everyone knows the story. Including my fiance. The next man to put his hands on me, won't be as lucky as ex husband. I will, for damn sure, make it worth the assault charge.

I hit the wrong button as well, my answer is no.. I have been in an abusive relationship when I was a teenager, and I promised myself that I would never been in another one.. My fiancé is to kind hearted, though some would disagree, we seem to know how to hit each other sweet spot.. We never push each other to the point of wanting to blow up at the other one, because it's not worth life is way to short to be that mad..
