Postpartum/Csection and Weight Lifting

This is 39 weeks vs 4 weeks pp. Had my little noodle via csection and got cleared for light workouts by doctor until my 6 week appt. Can’t help but feel a little down though 😔. I’m essentially starting all over again since I can’t just jump back into lifting heavy like I did before pregnancy/early trimesters. Any other momma’s who weight lifted prior to having baby feel this way? How did you keep yourself from going too fast? Any core workouts that are good for post csection? I plan to do stomach vacuums once I can, did those before pregnancy so I’m familiar with those already.
