Is it odd to be uncomfortable wearing tampons?

I've been uncomfortable ever since I was younger and I got my first period. I only like pads. This can be problematic because in my school were forced to take a swimming class where we swim twice a week every week. Our teacher allows us to skip swimming if we have our period, but we lose points.

Let me start by saying, I wish I had a swimming class when I was in high school! 😂 That sounds really nice.
But to answer your question, the only time I've ever felt uncomfortable using a tampon is if I didn't put it in all the way.
Next time try relaxing and putting it in slowly.

I cant/wont wear them. They hurt me & i find them uncomfortable. Its our right to wear what we want in our panties. You should not be penalized in my opinion. Its a natural part of womens lives & we shouldnt have to do anything we dont want to. Im sorry u have to experience the narrow minds of others, but know that u r not alone. Pads only. I thought about the cup, but i just dont trust it. ✌️❤️

I can't wear pads it's gross to me but I just wear tampons depends on what kind I guess I get

My best friends are perfectly fine with wearing tampons but I'm not. I use them only when I'm super heavy which are my second and third cycle days. The other days I use pads because pulling tampons out when it's dry, in my opinion, really hurts. Hope this helped!

I can't even use tampons. They last five minutes before I have to change it. I stick with pads 😕

I've been using tampons since I was 14 but since I went on the pill at 16 I found it hurt to wear a tampon all of a sudden. If your periods are light I find it easier to wear a pad. X

Maybe it's not in a the way?? Or is it just hurting when you pull it out?

Maybe the size of the tampon has something to do with it.
