Relationship advice

So I'm in a serious relationship with a guy and I think I'm in love, or almost there. I'm afraid to tell him because we constantly argue and I feel it hasn't been long enough. Everything always turns into an argument, none of my friends like him and they tell me to break up with him but I'm not one for giving up that easily. We're both hard headed and really stubborn and I wanna try and make it work, but I don't know how. Advice please?😫
