What Would You Do?

**Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice you just have given me! It is truly appreciated!
My man of 6 years and I have had our ups and Downs the past 6 years... I just want us to work on us together and get our lives together TOGETHER.. but he doesn’t think that’s possible he thinks that we need to go our own ways and work on ourselves and then come back together. 
He may be right i dont know . But I don’t like the idea.. I’m trying to work on trusting Gods Plan.. but i dont know what his plan is. I’m starting to think we need to break up and just co parent our 4 & 2 year old. 
What do you ladies think ?

Been there done that and I was the one who suggested living apart. Don’t do it. After much talking a discussion I can say that it would have been the worse decision ever. In the moment when shit seems bad it seems like the easiest and logical situation so I can see where he may think it’s a good idea. But one retrospect and looking back it would have been the worse decision bc it leaves too much open time and time to make bad decisions you may regret and not enough time to work on things

Writing things down can help visualize things more than talking and arguing, sometimes things look better and easier on paper. To be honest his plan just seems like an easy out, and a better way to get you to agree. Then you're apart and you still have all your focus on when you come together again and he's free to do whatever. Your plan seems like the logical, mature plan but if he isn't open to it that says a lot. Theres a chance that if you live apart he could regret it and miss what he had...I just dont  think that's fair to you. I wish you luck and hope you get happiness with whatever happens.
