I have been on bed rest due to pregnancy induced hypertention the last 4 weeks and still have a way to go. I am 30 w 3 d. My doctor says he has seen cases like mine go from stable to trouble very quickly and recommends a c section. I am not thrilled by the idea but appreciate his reasoning. I have so many questions about what happens after. I am concerned that breastfeeding will be more challenging. Also will I have a heavy period like after a vaginal birth? What can I expect? Most childbirth videos glaze over c sections and aren't much help. Any tips or insight? Do I need to pack for hospital differently?
