So I’m currently 39 weeks with my 4th. Also the longest I’ve went with any of my kids. I also do not feel as if I am seven days away from my due date. I do get contractions periodically but they only last for about 10 to 15 seconds and they come every 20 minutes so they’re definitely not close enough. I’m also 2.5 cm dilated. Talks about being induced have come up and I’m really nervous. I’ve never been induced with any of my other children so I don’t know what to expect. I also don’t want to be medicated during labor and I’m wondering is this even possible if you get induced? Is being induced painful? Are the chances of it being successful higher than it being unsuccessful? So many thoughts and questions run through my mind and it just makes me very nervous. Anyone who has any experience with being induced please comment.
