I finally figured it out...
I have spent the last week and a half trying to figure out why my cat is pissed off...
It turns out that this 24 lb ass hat will crap on my rug if I don't leave the baby mat out for him to nap on or under. Under you say? Yes, he takes a running start and slides head first like he's stealing a base.
