Hello, I’m a new and young mommy.

My baby is 3 months.

My baby’s father and I aren’t doing so well.

Our relationship has become toxic and abuse mentally, emotionally and physically.

I live in Tulsa OK

I am from Canada and had moved and came down here for my future with my baby’s father and family.

He doesn’t take care of her. She’s always with me 24/7.

Yes he buys her things her and there but he doesn’t really put love and effort in.

He’s been so hurtful to me throughout my pregnancy and is still continuing.

I’ve had enough.

I’ve learned it’s okay and I will be okay parenting myself.

I want her last name changed since I was made to put down his last name and sign the papers.

I was told my last name isn’t an option.

We aren’t married.

I want to make her last name mine.

Her father doesn’t have a status here either and I’m honestly just afraid that If something was to happen to him where would she go and if it will cause trouble with her name.

I have signed everything for her since she was born and everything is under my name.

If I go get her name changed do I need his consent?

Again we aren’t married, and he doesn’t take care of her.
