Update on my IVF journey

Karolina

Hey lovely ladies, just wanted to give you an update on my journey. Started downregulation last week. I’m now on day 7 of Suprecur injections. I was a little scared to begin with but I’m very pleasantly surprised. The injections are very easy to administer and not painful at all, the needle is tiny. I was also worried about side effects but so far the only symptom I get is tiredness which to be honest I can put up with. Hopefully this will reassure some of you that are about to start this journey, it really is ok. Also I feel a lot better emotionally now, as if the weight was lifted of my shoulders. We’ve been trying to conceive for over 6 years and it was getting really stressful and frustrating at times, but I feel a lot more relaxed now that everything is in the hands of science and medicine. We have severe male factor (low volume/count/motility/morphology + delayed ejaculation), so we have decided to go for ICSI to give ourselves better chance. Now just waiting on my period to arrive (hopefully this Friday) so we can book for a scan to check if My body is ready for the 2nd stage. All the best to all of you that are still going through it and baby dust to all of you lovely ladies ❤️❤️❤️.
