emergency please read!! Should i get tested for STDs??

So yesterday I hooked up with this guy who’s 22. I am a virgin and he isn’t. Anyways we made out a lot and he fingered me and also went down on me. I gave him a hj but he came into a paper towel and the other times he was wearing underwear so I never came in contact with his semen. Today he told me he took a blood test awhile ago and even tho he had no symptoms he had hsv1 genital herpes. I’m really scared because I’m 18 and I have health insurance but I’m scared that my parents are going to get the bill and find out if I were to get tested for STDS. They don’t know I’m sexually active. Should I get tested and risk my parents finding out because he did perform oral on me or it’s not worth it since I didn’t come in contact w his semen?

If you’re not going to get tested then your other option would be to abstain from any sexual contact because it would be extremely irresponsible to potentially infect another person. 
Your parents want you to be responsible. I’m sure they’ll be more angry if they find out you’re not taking care of your health and safety. 
And uhm did he JUST get the test results back?!  He should have told you BEFORE you entered into sexual activity. I would drop him and not look back.

See your obgyn for a well woman’s exam, they’ll offer to test you for stds for free.

You should be tested. Call the number on your card, most likely if you get tested as part of your annual wellness exam there will be no charge. Good luck and make people get tested before you have sex and use condoms!!!!!!!!!!

That is so wrong!!! I wish it were illegal to not disclose this information prior to sexual relations. 
If you’re in California, it is illegal ;) 
But seriously, that’s fucked up. Don’t talk to that guy ever again. And until you are confirmed as to if have or have not contracted it, use protection if you mess with anyone else, otherwise you will be in the same situation :/
