How many weeks do you have to be to get an ultrasound if the baby??

It just depends on ur Dr. and insurance. some people can get them as early as 6 weeks, some 10, others I've heard of having to wait until 20 weeks.

My doc does one at 8-10 weeks, one at 14 weeks (optional) if you want the NT scan to check for genetic disorders, and one at 20 weeks. As long as everything is normal. With my first, we never had a scan after 20 weeks, and it drove me CRAZY!
All my friends were getting several scans... BUT on the flip side I was greatful because my doc said we didn't need them since there were no complications, and we always measured right on target.

I have to wait till 20 weeks with my doctors. They won't even confirm a heart beat until 13 weeks! I thought "screw that!" and bought my own Doppler!lol

Depends on your doctors. With my son it was 8wk 20wks and 39wks. This baby I am high risk (after multiple miscarriages) and have had them already at 6wks 8wks and 12wks

I had one to date the pregnancy at 6w4d.  Had another one yesterday due to bleeding (8w5d).  If everything else goes well, won't have another one until 20weeks.

I had one at 6w4d....but that was only BC of a trip to the er. Otherwise my doc does them at 8w, 12w, 20w....then I dont know.

I had mine at my first appt. I estimated I was between 5-7 weeks and baby measured in at 7 exactly!
