Planned csection.. what should I expect?

So today we had a failed ECV:/ tried but baby didn’t wanna budge! So now I have a planned csection for oct 15 and honestly I’m super nervous and scared. Especially about recovery... any tips or advice to help?

Get up and walk as soon as you can and as much as you can. stay on top of your pain meds.

Plan a meal for deliver at the hospital- treat yourself when your okayed to eat.
Bring your own pillow,
It will help you be comfy while there and you will want to hold it on the ride home

Lay on your side afterwards. Sounds weird, but the gas pains are terrible and laying on your side will help you toot! 
I was a changed person after I took a shower at the hospital. I definitely recommend doing that when you feel ready. 
Try to sleep when it’s available to you. I stayed up the entire first night because I couldn’t sleep. Do whatever you can to catch some ZZZs. 
I promise you you’ll feel motivated and strong for your baby. It will all be worth it.
