I went for my first ultrasound yesterday and we were able to see the heartbeat and she measured it at 173. We were asking about hearing it and she said that new studies recently have shown that listening in on it before 13 weeks can sometimes harm the baby so we would listen at my next appt. I was fine with that since we measured and got to see it so I knew everything was ok but I was just wondering if anyone else had ever heard this.
