What’s going on

Hi there so I am on my second month of clomid. My period is expected today! Last evening I started with cramping and back ache. Only spotting like not even always when I wipe and not much when it’s there. So I’m wondering if that’s my period coming slowly or what. I was hoping we don’t have to do another month of clomid. I did take a test it was negative. Anyone experienced that? Thanks. Baby dust to you all. Also I should add every time I pee I get this horrible pain down there
