Just keep offering some kind of milk without any pressure. She’ll pick it up after trying it more (think 10-20+ exposures). My little guy gets breastmilk straight from the source when I’m around, 3-5 times a day. And we’ve been offering cheese, plain yogurt, and then sips of cows milk for nearly a year now. At first, he wasn’t into the cows milk either. And he still only has a big sip or two here and there. But your job is only to provide foods and drinks and offer them. How much and whether they’ll take it is up to them. Although modeling that you enjoy the food can help a lot. 🤓
Breastmilk--> Other
Teeny is showing readiness to make the switch! Both a woohoo and I'll miss it. Tried (Lactose free) cows milk and she thought it was poison. Trying soy now, and so far hasn't spit it out but avoids taking another sip. Tasted way better than I thought it would, but hoping soon she picks it up.
My first was formula fed so the transition was easy. Just hoping anyone has tips they found most useful when winging breastfed to other milk. I've read some stuff online, but have yet to find something that clicks.
