Long road trips?

I will be 8 weeks along around that time and was wondering if people thought it was safe it is a 7 hour trip and if we go we can only make three stops. Anyone have any advice? Or any tips? Any advise helps thank you so much

I will be driving 12 hours with 3 kids, a dog and a cat when I am 14/15 weeks We are moving from NC to FL. It is fine to take road trips. Pregnancy does not mean you have to put your life on hold.

I think since you should be staying hydrated maybe plan for more than 3 stops lol

I made a 30 hours drive before when I was 36 weeks along. Just watch what you eat cause I ate so much fast food and my ankles swelled up. Lol

Of course. We have a 18hr one way trip coming up in 3weeks. And we will be 14weeks.  And where taking both our dogs (labby and ridbacke x rotty) there not small lol our plan is too pack an esky full of water and hyrdolite as we are traveling across the outback (summer here) for at least 8hrs of the trip and packing fruit and sanwhiches and food for the dogs. Just anything that won't make me feel bloated when I will already battling the heat and swelling.

I just came back from a 7 hour trip at 8 weeks and it was fine. Have plenty
of water on hand and wear comfortable clothing. We stopped a few times for munchies and to use the restroom.

I went on a road trip at 8 weeks and I was pretty miserable. But this first trimester has been pretty miserable for me. And we were camping. I've driven back and forth across the country multiple times, but this short 8 hour trip was hell. It didn't help I was stuck in a cramped backseat and we also had car trouble. Make sure you are riding shotgun and bring lots of snacks!! ;)
