Do you think it’s necessary to put shoes on a 1y/o that’s not walking while out and about?
I went to Trader Joe’s the other day. And my one year old was in the cart and some lady came up the me and scolded me for him not having socks or shoes on saying he would get a chronic (or maybe corona? She was foreign so hard to understand Lol) infection and it made me think maybe that’s the norm, and I’m needing to be more diligent about him wearing shoes/socks? What are others thoughts? I’d totally agree in winter/if he were walking, but in 90 degree heat I just didn’t see the need. He had sandals on in the car but took them off and I didn’t think twice. Maybe it’s a Trader Joe’s thing? I’ve never been there without a friend 😂
