Feeling baby breathing?

Question

Has anybody been able to feel their baby breathing? My son is pretty big and he’s in a position where I feel either his belly or his back and it literally feels like I’m feeling his breathing. Is that normal?

I’ve noticed this to and thought I was crazy cause they get oxygen from the cord but definitely have noticed more of it and I’ve never seen my two girls do that before. I wonder the same thing

Yes mine does this all the time for weeks. I love seeing him practice breathing 💙💙

Depending on how far along you are baby should be practice breathing all the time. I told my doc I noticed a constant rhythmic movement where his back would be and she definitely thought it was him breathing. So you never know!

Probably just movements. Babies do some "practice breathing", but they don't breathe in there. Their oxygen is supplied by the placenta.
