I dated this guy on and off for 5 years. He is horrible. He is an emotionally detached narcissist who compulsively lies and manipulated me. It was an addiction. I constantly went back to him because he convinced me I needed him to be okay. Well, I had finally had enough. He broke my heart a month before a lot of life transitions (graduating college, moving to somewhere I knew nobody, living alone). A month after we broke up, he had a new girlfriend. fast forward 4 months, I texted him and we ended up having phone sex, as we always did when we got back together (we didn’t actually get back together though). Well, afterwards he decided to tell him he was engaged and his fiancé was pregnant. A week later he told me she got her period and it was just a scare. I didn’t believe he was actually going to get married. I thought it was a lie.

Now, 6 months after that, I have spent months in therapy trying to get over the emotional and mental trauma he put me through. & today, while scrolling through facebook, I see that HE GOT MARRIED. he married the girl he got with a month after we broke up. He spent 5 years saying he had commitment issues and could not commit to me. & then he married her. what a gut wrenching feeling.
