Anyone? I'm scheduled for a needed dating ultrasound next week and I got the phone call today from the OB that insurance is denying it. Insurance is saying the only ultrasound that they will cover is my 20 week one. My OB is needing this ultrasound to figure exactly how far I am and get an EDD. The DR is having me contact insurance about it but I don't see it helping. The only other options are to pay out of pocket or cancel. I have no idea how much it would cost out of pocket and canceling would mean not knowing how far I am. I'm just frustrated. How anyone else had this happen? I have never had issues with my insurance before. If you have had to pay out of pocket, do you remember the cost? Since being pregnant has left me unable to work the last thing we need is a huge bill. Thanks in advance!
