When will you start solids?

I have no plans on starting any solids until after the holidays my LO will be 6 months on 12/15 and we will prob start solids after Christmas, I am in NO rush at all.

I won’t start until he is at least 6 months and shows all the signs that he is ready to start. Sitting up nicely unsupported, full head control etc. Plus I want his bowels , stomach etc to be mature enough to handle the food as well as not to mess him up on future life with stomach issues. Regardless of that though no judgement to any other mama’s. You all do what you feel is right for your babies. 🥰💙

I will start when my baby turns 6 months and that will be on the 12/9 or I will wait until after Christmas. I am not in a hurry 😀😊

Our pediatrician gave us the ok. But I'm giving it a few more weeks and planning to start slow. Our LO is shifting her eating and sleeping cycles right now, so I don't want to add too much new stuff all at once. I'd also like her to be a little stronger in the sitting position. So I'm waiting until her schedule normalizes and she sits a little better.

Not sure. We go to his appointment on Thursday. My daughter was started at 4.5 months.  I’ll likely wait longer with him.  With my daughter I didn’t realize 6 months was the newer recommendation 😬

4 months. Start with rice cereal, banana, avocado. No rush to make him if he’s not interested, but no reason to wait
