Period vs implant

Okay ladies question for you. I use opks and everything was set for me to have my period on October 1st. It didn’t come all day then it came in the middle of the night watery red blood. Was upset but moved on. Thought oh we always have next month. But then it just ended maybe lasted 24 hours. Is that weird ?? My period usually last 4 days. It was heavy enough for a tampon and then nothing. It was bright red at first then dark brown. And then gone all within 24 hours. I did take a year last night to make sure I wasn’t pregnant and it was negative. Anyone else experience this ?? I have a doctors appointment on October 27th because we have been trying for two years and still haven’t gotten pregnant
