Nexplanon Question

To give a quick back story, in April of this year I was not on birth control and ended up pregnant. For where I am in life (23, college student), I decided to get an abortion. While being at planned parenthood already, I decided to get on Nexplanon (birth control in the arm). I know that getting an abortion can mess up a menstruel cycle, but I’ve only had 2 periods since April (it’s now October) and they start out normal and end after a few days, then the following 2 weeks go by with lighter bleeding. I was wondering if anyone else who had either an abortion or nexplanon had similar symptoms? I really hate the longevity of my periods and I don’t know if it could be linked to another health issue.
