FTM clothes?

I am at a total loss for how to dress my son , he will be born end of nov it will be cold in my area 40-30 Fahrenheit at least. I have 3 new born outfits and the rest are 3 months . What do I buy him do I get long sleeve onesies and pants with socks dies he need sweat shirts . Why is this so confusing lol

Pants will have to come off for every diaper change. My nov baby last year lived in footy pjs for the longest. Do not get ones with snaps, only zippers. And if you can find the ones that unzip from bottom up or both ways they’re ideal. Then you can just take legs out to change diaper and keep their top half still dressed. Between cold weather and covid if you’re mostly staying home, you’ll find cute multiple piece outfits rather impractical.

Onesies and sleepers, old navy has some light weight mico fleece sleepers that aren’t super thick if you’re worried about baby being too hot. You can get different swaddles that are warmer if you’re worried about baby being cold while sleeping since you’re not supposed to use blankets. Outfits are cute but a huge hassle especially in the early days, if you’re nursing then more skin to skin the better so you’ll be undressing baby very 2-3 hours.
