Ovulation and bbt

Hi! So I got my peak opk yesterday and I have been tracking my bbt. This morning at around 3am I checked and it dropped to 97.04. But then I fell back asleep and this morning around 8 it rose back up to 97.55. Which one would I count. And why are they completely different ?
