My husband and I went downtown today and we walked a ton. On every other corner was this one organization asking for charity, and my husband isn’t from America, so I explained to him that they’ll start with “hi, how are you guys doing today” to get you to stop but since we’re not interested to just say “sorry, not today” and continue walking so we don’t get their hopes up.

We pass plenty of these groups throughout the day, and as we’re walking back to the car this pretty girl with a huge ass that’s working for this co. comes up to us trying to get us to donate and instead of saying “sorry, we’re not interested” like we did EVERY OTHER TIME my husband slows down, while looking at her so she continues explaining the organization to him and then I say “so sorry” and keep walking to he continues with me.

I made a light joke like “wow, after all these corners we passed with them suddenly you’re interested ..? (Bc she was so hot) 💀

And he legit was like “grumpy” (not talking so much to me and keeping to himself) for the past couple hours like get over yourself . If you’re walking holding hands with your WIFE at least have some respect .

Please tell me I’m not overreacting.

Also - SIDE POINT after my “snarky” comment I was NOT angry at all and was continuing as normal and HE was the one who was upset bc he was checking out some other girl..
