Has anyone had a HSG?

I had one 4 days ago. It was the worst pain I had to dill with in my life other then getting a IUD years ago. Now I have been super sad and trying to BD I cant stop my head to get the mood. I am suppose to Ovulate in a few day but I am super sad. It's not normal for me. Has anyone had this problem? Am I just overthinking it and making myself feel like this?

I had one and had no issues. It really didn't even hurt that much to me but i have a high pain tolerance. I have had both of my children without medication so the hsg was nothing lol. My left tube was blocked and I had to use clomid to finally get pregnant. There really isn't any reason that this test would effect your emotions or sex drive. There are no hormones involved. Sounds like you're overthinking things. Just try to relax and bd every other day. Good luck!

My HSG was the worst pain of my life, which I guess I can be thankful for.  I kind of felt the same way after. Because it hurt so bad, I wasn't ready to "play" right away. Our doctor assigned us every other day starting the next night and I was so nervous. I kept crying in anticipation and in anxiousness when it was over... Hang in there. This month was so much better!

Did they say something negative about your test? Because you're more likely to concieve following the HSG, unless there's an issue.

Thank you girls! Talking to you guys really helped and I am happy to know that other people have had great outcomes in the end. I am starting to get happier knowing that I am on the right road to having a baby.  Now that I know it's all just me overthinking it. I need to let go of the stress and just have fun and see what happens. If it's not my time this month then I will move on to the next step. Really thank you girl! ✨✨
