Anyone on progesterone or take vitex?

After talking to friends I realize it's possible that being on BC for so long may have made my hormones out of whack and I definitely know my period has been irregular since I've been off. I'm going to see a fertility specialist for tests. For now while dealing with AF who came two days early yesterday, I did some research and wanted to know if anyone has success ttc on progesterone or taking vitex.
