Do you tip the delivery person??

On apps like Uber eats do you tip? Cause it’s optional not to and it’s also optional to only tip $1 is that considered rude? Or am I being too nice by tipping around $5 each time?

They are picking up your food and delivering, yes it would be rude to not tip.

We always tip the delivery guy... Our currency is different but we normally tip 5-10% of what we ordered.

It’s nice to tip, but you’re not obligated to. I tip depending on how long they took to deliver my food and if they actually delivered it to my apartment door and not in the lobby.

I always tip 20%. I live about 10 minutes from where all of the food is, so I like to be generous. They do have to pay for gas too!
