Wall decor over crib?

I’m making a sign with his name on it to hang up in his room, and I really want to put it on the wall that will be behind the crib. I read somewhere that you shouldn’t do that, but I feel like I’ve seen lots of pictures where there’s stuff hanging up on the wall with the crib on it??? Anybody have any insight?

We did wall decals, so basically decorative stickers above the cribs

If u have it mounted on the wall correctly and sturdy it should be fine

I read that you’re not supposed to do it in case it falls off the wall, but I hung up stuff anyway because I have literally never had one of my paintings just randomly fall off the wall 🤷🏼‍♀️

We have a name sign over ours. Just made sure it was hung securely!
