PLS HELP Ladies: TTC for 15months now

So I’m about 5days late which has never happened in about 5years + with very light spotting for a couple of hours in between. Decided to test this morning with a pregnancy kit and it’s negative. No period/pregnancy symptoms, only mild sore nipple and back ache and of cos cravings for food. What could be happening? I’m loosing it
