Communication during sex

Both me and my boyfriend are very quiet during sex, I don't know if this is learned behaviour from living in dorms with paper walls or natural, probably a mix of both.

We're both pretty bad at expressing ourselves verbally outside the bedroom but are getting better, and body language is a big communicator for us, but sometimes it's not enough while we're having sex.

Does anyone have any tips on how to communicate what I want more?
