Help baby won’t sleep
Baby is 3 weeks old and hasn’t slept for hours besides a couple 5 min naps. I can tell she’s overly tired. I’ll change her diaper, feed her, she falls asleep in my arms, then the second I try to set her down to nap she wakes up and acts hungry again. I tried baby wearing for the first time today and she just starts rooting and gets frustrated thinking she’s going to be eating. And both times I’ve tried it’s after she’s finished eating, and off of both breasts so she should be getting enough milk and not hungry so soon I would think. Shes not usually so needy or fussy so I think she’s overly tired. Normally I would be ok holding her to sleep in times like this but I have some things that I need to get done today so was really hoping I could put her down for her nap if possible
Any tips on how to put her down for her nap? She may be in a growth spurt too. I have been feeding her when she’s acting hungry, but is she really hungry constantly even after eating or is it a comfort thing?
To add on, she’s gained more than enough weight so that’s not a concern at all
