Tonight I gave my daughter a pumpkin banana baby food. She loved it and everything was fine. I turned around to put some things in the sink and I heard what sounded like her squirming around. I turned around and some formula and baby food shot out of her nose and she was turning red. I got her out as quick as I could and flipped her belly down and was hitting her back. I didn’t know if she was choking or what, but she started breathing fine again but was really fussy and wouldn’t stop crying.

I wiped her up and noticed her right eye got really red around it and puffy as well as some spots on her cheek.

She’s aspirated before and it was kind of like that but she never had red marks or puffiness.

She’s had banana fine no problem but she’s never had pumpkin. Does this sound like an allergic reaction? I plan to call the dr in the morning but just wondering what others think. It scared the hell out of me!
