Never getting married?

If a guy you’ve been dating for the past 7 months and have introduced your daughter too and had family meet and all that told you he doesn’t plan on ever getting married and he is 28 would you continue the relationship? Because I wanna get married again and have my daughter be adopted. But it shocked me tonight when we were at dinner and he said that. Why are we even dating if there isn’t a plan to ever get married and stuff??

If that’s what you hands down want in life, then you don’t need to stay. However, if he is committed to you and good to you, does marriage matter? I mean he could always change his mind. I had friends who would constantly remind the rest of us they don’t believe in marriage, and 4 years later they tied the knot. You do deserve to have what you want. No matter who you date, you should not have the idea set for them to adopt your child just because you get married. If the want to do that then that’s absolutely awesome, but I think that idea should just get out of your mind. She is your baby girl and be proud that you’re doing everything for her no matter who comes in her life!
