Steroids / Sciatica + pregnancy
26 weeks prego, had an onset of severe sciatica that landed me in the ER, they had no quick relief option to get me back on my feet so second best is the class C steroids they gave me and narcotics until those kick in.
Has anyone else dealt with this?
I'm paranoid about the effects of my baby (granted I will only be taking the steroids for 5 days, so it *shouldnt* do any harm) but still.
Took a hot bath for the pain and I'm numbed out now but I'm having bad sharp pains in my uterus right now, every time baby moves. My husband thinks it's the heat from the tub but I wasn't in there long.
In pain on so many levels and needing some sort of reassurance, I'm going coo-coo. (Narcotics aren't helping that, lmao)
Anyone been here before?
