Still spotting. What causes this?

I am 4 weeks 4 days. I have been pink spotting every day... my HCG is going up, though.
What can cause this bleeding?
I had a c section 18 months ago, but never bled in that pregnancy.

I always spot when pregnant. Usually a few days after O, implantation bleeding and then again a couple of weeks later, pink and brown. No idea what causes it. But with my daughter I even had bright red bleeding (only when I wiped). Unless you start seeing enough to fill a pad or it becomes red with clots I wouldn't worry.
