Gift for older sibling when bringing baby home?

Is anyone giving their older child a gift “from their new sibling” when they bring baby home? Preferably for a toddler. If so, what are you getting them?

I got my daughter a sleeping beauty animators collection play set that comes with the fairies and prince. Her name is Aurora and her new sister is Briar Rose so figured it would be fitting if Briar Rose brought Aurora fairies to play with.

I got my 2 year old a toy truck to play with “from the baby”, and I got him a little toy to give the baby as well. It’s just one of those things that hangs on a stroller :)

I went to the dollar tree and got 5-6 different toys that I plan on using more as a “sos I need this toddler to give me one minute with the new baby!!!!!!!” toy stash. Not really an official gift. My daughter will be 19 months and I got her fairy dress up wings and tutu, play animals, pretend microphone, little cars, and a stuffed christmas elf.

My son will be just over 2 when baby is born so I’m planning on getting some quiet activities (coloring, play dough). We’ve been getting him a big brother book here and there to help get used to the idea so if there’s any others we come across probably more books but I’m due right around Christmas so I know he’ll already have new toys from that. Just thankful my husband will be home while we all adjust.

I just got mine a big sister t shirt and some crayons and a colouring book ( something new and exciting while i was busy with baby)
