cartilage/tragus piercing with gun?

anyone ever gotten them done with a gun as opposed to a needle? i know you’re not “supposed to” howeverr... i’ll be piercing it myself and don’t think i’d have to guts to do it with a needle, especially because i want more than one. i’ve heard so many people say that pierced cartilage themselves with a gun and it was quick and pain free. i really wanna go for it, i’m not sure about tragus though. anyone?
