My husband and I have been ttc for 9 years. Finally did hormone therapy which has treated an identified root cause of my infertility. We’re hoping to get pregnant this year or next. We were also hoping to START the adoption process toward the end of the year after our roommate moves out and we have time to convert our spare room into a nursery.

Guys, we got offered to adopt a baby who was JUST BORN on Saturday! We’re scrambling for the opportunity! It’s been a whirlwind jumping through the legal hoops. The birth mother wants us to babysit until she has to terminate her rights (for us to adopt, there’s no reason she would be forced to, she’s not on drugs or neglectful or anything).

So we’re going to have a newborn, our first, in 3 DAYS!

I don’t feel ready to take care of a newborn! I don’t have time to read because of paperwork and getting my job finished up so I can take an extended leave (we own our own small biz).

Please help!!!What’s a good audio source to learn the ins and outs?
