Girl: Saylor Rain (grandfather is a navy veteran so it’s i tribute)
Boy: Axel Carter (boyfriend picked it out because he’s a dirtbike racer and I love it)

Just thought I’d pass on some fun info as I’m a mama to a Saylor Grey. 😊 
Saylor is not the same name, nor does it have the same meaning as Sailor. Saylor is not nautical at all. It actually is from the French surname meaning leaper or dancer. It was originally spelled Sailleour, then was changed to Saylor when the Sailleour family immigrated to America. When deciding on baby names before my Saylor was born, I made a friend who named her daughter Saylor for this very reason. Saylor is a family surname for them. 
Anyway, if you’re honoring your grandpa who was in the navy, I’d definitely spell it Sailor as Saylor has its own meaning and origin, and it’s not just a unique way to spell Sailor.

Saylor Rayne was a name I hag picked out a few years ago when we first started ttc, but my husband doesn't like Saylor. I LOVE it though!
