I can't believe it happened so quickly... I've only been off birth control for a month and a half. I took a test last Saturday (before my missed period) just to make sure I WASN'T pregnant so I could drink a bottle of wine at dinner, and lo and behold, I received a positive test! Utter shock...is this even real?

I wanted to wait to tell my hubs until after my period didn't come, but he's too nosey and saw my panicked Google searches about having cramps with a positive pregnancy test. Seriously dude, you NEVER go on my iPad, and decide to after I search a million questions on early pregnancy?!

I grabbed my positive test, showed it to him and watched him tear up at the thought of being a dad. When I told him I wanted to wait to tell him until I was sure, he says "Why would you want to go through that stress alone? You should never have to go through anything alone when I'm here." Tears of happiness, disbelief...we're going to be parents!
