Am I protected from pregnancy’?

When I started my new pack of birth control pills, I started a day late.

I have 4 placebo days. And on the day I was supposed to start my new pack, I couldn’t because When I went to the pharmacy to pick them up on that day, I found out I was out of refills. So I had to cal my doctor to get more.

So I stared a day late. I have had 9 pills since , so do you think I’m pretty safe from pregnancy now? Or do you think missing that one day can affect me ?
