Hey ladies,

After giving birth to 2 healthy kids in 2009 and 2013, I’ve unexpectedly suffered 2 miscarriages this year. Once in May and then in September. I’m pregnant again for a 3rd time now, immediately after my September miscarriage. I lost the 2nd baby on September 1st, and had a positive on September 27th - no period in between. I already had my doubts and expected to lose this baby too. However, my first hCG levels doubled well in 48 hours (unlike my other two pregnancies this year), so my doctor didn’t ask me to return for anymore labs.

I was anxious beyond all belief so I requested another draw just to see where my levels were until my sonogram *hopefully* at the end of this month.

On 10/1 my hCG was 115. On 10/3 hCG was 276. I had my most recent levels drawn on 10/13 for my peace of mind. 10 days after my last one, I calculated I needed to be around 8000-9000 for doubling to have happened.

My hCG on 10/13 was 17368 😳!

I would have been about 6w3d on 10/13.

Is this high? Normal? Of course now I’m worried something is still wrong with baby.

I’m praying this is a healthy sticky little one ♥️
