Sciatica???

Question

Has anyone else been told they have sciatica during there pregnancy I’m in so much pain but limited to what I can take? 
I’m scared about labour... I see my consultant next week but I’m just scared I have had 3 natural births but scared I won’t be able to sit or stand or anything lol!!!!

Get a foam roller! I had horrible pain in my glutes and back hamstrings. Like couldn’t walk! I sat on the foam roller, crossed one ankle over the other leg, and rolled. Oh boyyyyyy it felt so much better. Good luck!

Oh god yeah. I have had sciatica with all 3 of my pregnancies the whole 3rd trimester. 
What helps is staying hydrated, using a pregnancy pillow at night especially between my knees and under my hips, using a yoga ball to relieve pressure, and having my husband use a tennis ball to provide counter pressure

Yes with my first two! Chiropractor and stretches were super helpful.

I have sciatica when I'm not pregnant. There are lots of good prenatal yoga videos on youtube that help me when pregnant. Walking and exercise helps me too. Sometimes when it flares up really bad, I'll use a heating pad to calm it down. I never had an issue with it during labor. The pain of contractions always consumed me.
